Nasal Surgery in Derwood

Nothing has a greater impact on how a person looks than the size and shape of the nose. Because the nose is the most defining characteristic of the face, a slight alteration using nasal surgery can greatly improve one’s appearance.

Beyond Luxury Care

Our doctors believe in creating a natural-looking and aesthetically pleasing nose for the patient. Nasal surgery is one of the most difficult operations in facial plastic surgery. The difficulty lies in the anatomy of the nose, as this varies from patient to patient. Because of this, our doctors create an individualized surgical plan for each patient and utilize comprehensive techniques.

Procedures

We offer various nasal surgery procedures, including Rhinoplasty, Septoplasty, Nasal Tip Plasty, and Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty alter the shape of your nose.

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty, commonly referred to as a "nose job," is a surgical procedure aimed at reshaping and enhancing the aesthetic appearance of the nose. This intricate cosmetic surgery involves modifying the nasal bones and cartilage to achieve a more balanced and harmonious facial profile.

During a rhinoplasty, incisions are typically made inside the nostrils (closed rhinoplasty) or, in some cases, a small external incision may be made across the columella (open rhinoplasty). The surgeon then sculpts the nasal structures to address concerns such as a dorsal hump, nasal tip refinement, or overall size and shape adjustments.

Rhinoplasty is not only performed for cosmetic purposes but can also be undertaken to address functional issues, such as breathing difficulties resulting from a deviated septum or other nasal obstructions.

Septoplasty

Septoplasty is a surgical procedure designed to correct a deviated septum, the partition between the two nasal passages. This corrective surgery aims to improve nasal airflow, alleviate breathing difficulties, and address issues such as snoring or chronic sinusitis that may arise from a misaligned nasal septum.

During a septoplasty, the surgeon typically makes an incision inside the nostrils to access the septum. The deviated or obstructing portions of the septum are then adjusted or removed to create a straighter nasal passage. In some cases, additional procedures, such as turbinate reduction, may be performed to optimize nasal function further.

Nasal Tip Plasty

Arm and thigh lifts, clinically referred to as brachioplasty and thighplasty, respectively, are surgical procedures designed to address excess skin and tissue laxity in the upper arms and thighs. These aesthetic surgeries are often sought by individuals who have experienced significant weight loss, aging, or genetic factors that contribute to sagging skin in these areas.

During an arm lift, or brachioplasty, the surgeon removes excess skin and fat from the upper arms to achieve a more toned and defined appearance. The incisions are strategically placed to minimize visibility.

Similarly, thigh lifts, or thighplasty, involve the removal of excess skin and, in some cases, fat from the thighs. This procedure aims to enhance the contour of the thighs and reduce sagging or loose skin, resulting in a more youthful and proportionate lower body.

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

A Mommy Makeover is a comprehensive cosmetic surgery approach that typically combines multiple procedures to address the physical changes experienced by women post-pregnancy and childbirth. This personalized intervention is tailored to restore and enhance the breasts, abdomen, and other areas affected by the transformative effects of motherhood.

Common components of a Mommy Makeover may include breast augmentation or lift to address changes in breast volume and sagging, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) to address abdominal muscle separation and excess skin, and liposuction to contour areas with stubborn fat deposits. The goal is to achieve a more rejuvenated and aesthetically pleasing appearance, often by restoring pre-pregnancy body contours.
